Dragon Age: Inquisition will see the return of multiple playable races, an option that was removed in Dragon Age 2, BioWare has confirmed.

“Large and varied environments, customisable armor, and the return of multiple player races are just a few of the ways BioWare is addressing feedback from previous titles in order to shape a new future for the franchise,” Game Informer revealed.

It was also revealed that Inquisition would contain mounts, which can be seen in action in Game Informer‘s video below. Series executive producer Mark Darrah later confirmed on Twitter that mounts would be in the game.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is due to release in 2014 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC.
