Dragon Age: Inquisition, the third installment of BioWare’s fantasy RPG series, will miss its original October 7 release date and instead arrive November 18 in North America, the studio announced today.

According to executive producer Mark Darrah, the few extra weeks will afford BioWare the time they need for “polishing the experience,” “strengthening the emotional impact of the Hero’s choices,” and “ensuring the experience you get is the best it can be in the platform you choose to play on.”

The European release will likewise move from October 10 to November 21.
