THE BUZZ: Square-Enix has confirmed that the Japanese Dragon Quest X Online beta will begin this Thursday, February 23.

The beta will begin with restricted numbers, and more invitations will be issued over time. Application are still being accepted.

EGM’s TAKE: Sadly with the beta being hosted in Japan we won’t get to play, but it does mean that a lot more gameplay footage from the game will come flooding in once it begins. So those of you who are itching to see some more of the latest Dragon Quest are in luck.
