Posting on the PlayStation Blog, Atlus PR manager John Hardin announced Vanillaware’s upcoming brawler Dragon’s Crown is coming to PS3 and PS Vita August 6.

Developed by the makers of Odin Sphere and Muramasa, Dragon’s Crown is a very slick-looking 2D side-scroller with six playable characters, 4-player co-op, and RPG elements reminiscent of Castle Crashers and Guardian Heroes.

Dragon’s Crown launches on PS3 and PS Vita August 6, priced at $50 and $40 respectively.
