Capcom has announced that Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen will be coming to Nintendo Switch on April 23rd, 2019.

The Nintendo Switch version of the game features support for Pawn sharing online, but does not require a Nintendo Switch Online membership to use. Watch the announcement trailer below:

The current-gen version of the game was released for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in 2017, and features “improved high resolution visuals” and all the additional content added as part of the Dark Arisen expansion.

“Based in an epic fantasy setting, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen combines exhilarating and deep combat with the freedom to explore and interact in this rich and detailed world,” the game’s description reads. “Choose between nine different classes and embark on your own adventure along with three AI companions, known as Pawns. These allies fight independently, develop alongside your character, and can be shared or borrowed online in exchange for treasure, tips and more.”

Dragon’s Dogma was originally released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2012.
