Capcom has released a new trailer for Dragon’s Dogma, featuring the powerful and mighty Ur-Dragon.

The Ur-Dragon isn’t any oridnary foe, it’s an ”asynchronous, ongoing online encounter,” in which each player takes on the Dragon with the damage they deal contributing to a worldwide effort to defeat him. It has an unbelievable amount of HP and everybody who does damage will get a loot drop once the beast is finally slain - the person who deals the killing blow gets the best loot. All those that defeat the dragon will have their names entered in the Hall of Fame.

Now this is a boss! No smoke or mirrors just a ton of hit points and crazy attack power. No one player can ever take this thing on, only by working as a community can you ensure victory. More games should offer bosses like this, especially RPGs. Everybody loves a giant seemingly invincible monster.
