Dragon’s Dogma is to receive two new game modes via DLC next month, a hard mode and time attack challenge.

The announcement was made over on Capcom’s Japanese blog and states that the DLC will launch in Japan on December 4, it will add a hard mode option and time attack challenge to both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game. No mention was made of a Western release, but I’d expect one to be in the pipeline.

Completing hard mode will earn you the King’s Robe clothing set, Edman equipment set, and Abyss hardware set. While completing the time attack challenge nets you the Serena clothing set for females and the Burnaby set for males.
