The release date of Evolution Studio’s Driveclub will be announced “shortly,” according to a Sony representative.
The game was set to release alongside the launch of the PlayStation 4 in November, but was delayed to improve the quality of the game. A free PlayStation Plus version of the game was set to be released alongside the retail version, which is basically the full game without certain cars or tracks.
Yesterday, Sony announced that Driveclub would also miss the PlayStation 4′s Japanese launch in February. A representative told IGN:
“The team at Evolution Studios are working hard to bring Driveclub, a truly next gen driving experience to PS4 and we will announce the release date shortly. We’re really excited about how Driveclub is progressing and thank you for the patience.”
