Sony has announced that the online servers for Driveclub, Driveclub VR, and Driveclub Bikes will be taken offline permanently on March 31st, 2020.

Following the closure, players will still be able to play the games offline, access previously purchased DLC in offline modes, and earn trophies in offline modes. However, players will no longer be able to do the following:

  • Use your season pass online.
  • Represent your Club online in multiplayer events or tours.
  • Play online multiplayer and compete in challenges.
  • Create your own events.
  • Compete in leader boards, or share stats and player progress.

In addition to shutting down the online servers, Driveclub, Driveclub VR, Driveclub Bikes, and all related DLC and season passes will be removed from the PlayStation Store on August 31st, 2019.

Driveclub originally launched for PlayStation 4 in 2014, with the Driveclub Bikes standalone expansion following in 2015.

Driveclub, Driveclub VR, and Driveclub Bikes will be removed from the PS Store this year ahead of the servers shutting down in 2020.
