In WayForward and Capcom’s third and final entry in their DuckTales Remastered duckumentary series, the developers explores the HD remake’s sound and design.

“One of the most important aspects of a video game is its sound,” diretor Austin Ivansmith says in the behind-the-scenes video. “It can be very easy to overlook the importance of that when you just get the visuals and the gameplay in, and then there’s no sound, something isn’t quite right.”

According to Ivansmith, the team at WayForward also expanded the game’s script once they learned Disney could get them the entire DuckTales voice cast for the project. None of them appear in this behind-the-scenes video, unfortunately, but there is plenty of interesting developer commentary about the various tunes found in DuckTales Remastered and what those songs mean to them personally and how the sound complements the gameplay.
