While public opinion was mixed on Duke Nukem Forever, the upcoming DLC pack “Hail to the Icons” will no doubt change all of that, as it brings one of the most important additions you could give to the game: hats.

Well, probably more important is that the DLC will also bring with it new modes like Freeze Tag (a new team game where players cooperate to “freeze and shatter their opponents”); Hot Potato, where players see who can hold on to “the babe” the longest; and Hail to the King, a new free-for-all mode.

Also included will be new maps, such as CAll of Duke (an obvious play on Call of Duty that takes place in a war-torn city); Sandpit, where mini-Dukes battle it out in a giant sandbox on a map that features Sticky Grenades; Inferno, where players go back in time to a retro first-person shooter that sounds an awful lot like Doom; and finally 2Forts1Bridge, which will no doubt be a play on Team Fortress 2.

Which, of course, brings us back to the hats.
