E3 2011 – Kinect Star Wars Gameplay Demo

At the Microsoft press conference earlier today we got to see our first real look at Star Wars Kinect.

A live demo was done on stage to see how the game would control, you have to say “lightsaber on” in order to activate your lightsaber which isn’t very Jedi but still looks cool. You can swing your lightsaber to attack enemies, thrusting forwards will propel you towards enemies and dodging left or right will cause your player to jump over and roll away from enemies.

You can use force powers to move objects that are in the way and can kick and punch at enemies who get to close.
