E3 2011 – Mirrors Edge 2 On The Frostbite 2 Engine Is Coming

Imagine a sequel to Mirrors Edge running on the Battlefield 3 engine, sounds good doesn’t it?

Well according to EA President, Frank Gibeau we will be seeing it soon, he told Gametrailers;

“you’ll see that combination, I’m sure”.

“We haven’t killed Mirror’s Edge, we’re actively
looking at how to bring it back in the right way. We love that
franchise. The DICE guys really created something I think special the
first time around. You’ve got to have a big idea to be able to do the
next one and that’s what we’re working on.”

So it would appear that a sequel is indeed in development, hopefully we can see something from it soon.
