E3 2011 – Naughty Dog: We’re Reaching The Limits Of PS3 With Uncharted 3

In a recent interview Co-President of Naughty Dog, Christophe Balestra spoke about just how hard Uncharted 3 is pushing the PlayStation 3.

He told Nowgamer;

“It’s a good question. I think we are reaching some limits for our tech.
We are trying to optimise everything now. We’ve really pushed the
limits on Uncharted 2 and with Uncharted 3, we’ve optimised the last
build code, to run everything as fast as we can.”

“It’s hard to tell because we’re all heads down trying to make it fit.
We’ll see. Maybe we’ll find something else. There are some other pretty
incredible games coming out so maybe we’ll find something new, for
sure.”
