E3 2012: Ascend: New Gods, LocoCycle, Matter, Wreckateer Announced
Posted on June 4, 2012 AT 10:45am
Four new Xbox 360 exclusive titles have been announced at Microsoft’s E3 presser.
The first, Ascend: New Gods, is from Signal Studios, and features a gritty fantasy feel. Interestingly enough, the game will feature asynchronous multiplayer over Xbox Live.
The second, LocoCycle, is from ‘Splosion Man and Gunstringer developer Twisted Pixel, and looks to be a futuristic racer in the vein of Tron‘s lightcycle sequences.
Next, we were treated to a brief glimpse of Matter, a project from Pirates of the Caribbean director Gore Verbinski with an abstract sci-fi look.
Finally, we got a brief demo of Wreckateer a downloadable Kinect title that tasks you with launching projectiles via catapult to destroy castles, Angry Birds-style.
Ascend, LocoCycle, and Matter will all be out in 2013, while Wreckateer will be releasing later this summer.
