Ubisoft confirmed an Avengers game was in the works last month, but the game, Battle for Earth, has officially made its public debut at Ubisoft’s E3 press conference.

At the moment, gameplay details are pretty much non-existent, but we did catch a glimpse of several Marvel heavy hitters courtesy of a brief cinematic trailer. We spotted Venom, Spider-Man, X-Men’s Storm and Magneto, and the full, star-studded lineup of the Avengers, so you can definitely expect to have a decent selection of heroes at your disposal.

One other thing was also made quite clear by the trailer—this game is in no way based on the recent blockbuster Avengers film. Sorry, folks. Looks like you won’t be living our your fantasies with a virtual Scarlett Johansson anytime soon.

The Avengers: Battle for Earth is out for Kinect and Wii U this fall.
