E3 2012: Crytek’s Ryse is Still in Development for Kinect
Posted on June 7, 2012 AT 11:20pm

At last year’s E3, Crytek revealed an interesting concept trailer for the Xbox 360 exclusive, Ryse. The game was mysteriously missing from this year’s event, however Microsoft promise that the game is still in development.
The teaser was set in ancient Rome and showed us a brutal first-person combat game. According to Microsoft’s Phil Spencer the game is missing this year because it simply isn’t ready to show yet.
“We’re still working with Crytek, we’re still extremely committed to the relationship, but we want to make sure that we’re putting our best foot forward every time we show the game,” he told Joystiq. “You’ll see more about that game, no doubt.”
The game showed a lot of promise when it was teased last year, however it was quickly forgotten about once the excitement wore off. We really hope that Microsoft has something to show us within the next few months, because this is one Kinect title that could actually be worth buying.
