E3 2012: EA, UFC President Dana White Announce Next UFC Game

It looks like UFC President Dana White and EA have repaired their broken bridges, as Dana White announced a new UFC title at the EA E3 press conference. No official name was given, but industry gossip indicates that EA bought the license away from THQ.
Dana White has publicly had a rocky history with EA, as the developer/publisher initially turned the UFC away when they sought a company to produce their first UFC Undisputed title. After the massive success of UFC Undisputed 2009, EA started a competing franchise in EA Sports MMA, featuring many fighters from San Jose mixed martial arts promotion Strikeforce—a company that has since been purchase by Zuffa LLC, the UFC’s parent company.
