E3 2012

Extensive footage of Tomb Raider was shown off at the Microsoft E3 press conference, courtesy of Crystal Dynamics. Most importantly, the first path of DLC for Lara Croft’s re-debut was announced as an Xbox 360 exclusive.

Here’s a few highlights from the action shown during the sizzle reel:

• Lara modifying her weaponry with flame-tipped arrows.
• Advanced water and mud effects. Seriously, Lara is going to get filthy.
• Fire will be a huge element in the gameplay, both for puzzles and fending off attackers.
• Lara base jumping through trees, but injuring herself on the landing.
