Rayman has a new sidekick debuting in Rayman Legends, controlled entirely by the Wii U touchscreen. Dubbed “Murphy,” the new character can warp around levels, creating platforms and stunning enemies for the other players to knock out.
Supporting several Wii Remotes in addition to the WiiPad, Rayman Legends can host up to five players at once. What combination of WiiRemotes, Wii Classic Controllers, and Wii U touchscreens that serves is currently up in air, but specific roles for the WiiPad’s gyroscope are required in manipulating some puzzles and rotating platforms.
