E3 2012: RUMOR: Black Ops II Multiplayer HUD Leaks, Reveals Max Level?
Posted on June 7, 2012 AT 11:29am

A couple of Black Ops II images have surfaced online offering a glimpse at the latest version of the game’s multiplayer HUD, along with information on a possible max level.
During E3 several publications – including ourselves – have had a chance to check out the game’s multiplayer component and a few images have surfaced from one of those sessions.

The HUD shown above is from the latest build of the game. The killstreak icons represent the C.L.A.W., FA-38, and Quadrotor. An interesting thing to note is the “select fire” option located above the ammo count. An ability to change fire modes has been sadly missing from previous Call of Duty games. Many fans have been begging for such an option to be added.

A second leaked image seems to suggest that the game’s max level will be 55 – the max in the original Black Ops was 50. This may just be in the current build and is obviously subject to change before the game’s official release.
The images came via IGN’s Instagram page, and were also tweeted by Treyarch’s Matt Scronce – both sources have since been removed.
