Ubisoft took to the stage at Microsoft’s E3 press conference to reveal Splinter Cell: Blacklist, the long-rumored sixth installment in the popular Tom Clancy stealth franchise.
The five minute demo featured the always grizzled Sam Fisher in an outdoor Middle Eastern setting, utilizing many of the new gameplay innovations we saw in 2010’s Conviction along with a few new gameplay refinements.
In a first for the series, Blacklist will include Kinect support in the form of voice commands. By speaking directly to the system, players will be able to attract enemies, call in support strikes, and more.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist will be out in spring 2013.
