When you think about it, a movie like Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph just doesn’t happen. There’s too many big cameos floating around, too many names from other gaming franchise involved in the mix.

Just look the picture above. In one scene alone, you have Bowser from Super Mario Bros., Dr. Robotnik from Sonic The Hedgehog, and Pac-Man‘s Clyde, along with Street Fighter‘s Zangief and M. Bison (or Vega, depending on where you live).

That means Disney signed contracts with Nintendo, Sega, Namco Bandai, and Capcom respectively, and did it in a fashion where the characters feature prominently into a Disney property. I don’t know how all those different companies got through that kind of paperwork, but it already smells like money.

Heck, I even think that’s Mortal Kombat‘s Kano sitting next to the zombie.

Watch the trailer below to see something that everyone was buzzing about at E3. Wreck-It Ralph stars the titular character as a disgruntled video game villain who wants to break out of the role as the “bad guy” in his arcade game. In doing so, he wanders into a bunch of other games in the arcade, which should be ripe for more cameos. Wreck-It Ralph hits theaters on November 2, 2012.
