In the wake of the Great SimCity Server Crisis of 2013, Maxis and EA are offering SimCity players one of eight EA titles for free.

SimCity players can choose from:

  • Battlefield 3
  • Bejeweled 3
  • Dead Space 3
  • Mass Effect 3
  • Medal of Honor Warfighter
  • Need for Speed Most Wanted
  • Plants vs. Zombies
  • SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition

The offer opens to North American players 5PM PT on March 20, European players at 5PM PT on March 21, and Asia and South American players 5PM PT on March 22.

In order to download one of the free games, players must register their copy of SimCity before midnight on March 25, then claim their game before midnight on March 30. You can find the free games portal through the “Featured Today” pop-up window displayed when launching Origin.
