EA Comments On Why It Chose Battlefield 4 Over Bad Company 3

EA has responded to fan’s concerns over the future of the Battlefield: Bad Company series after the announcement of Battlefield 4, by stating that DICE is still “very proud and fond of” the series.
“I can tell you that it’s not due to any lack of love for BC inside of DICE,” replied Battlefield 3‘s community manager Ian Tornay in response to a question on Reddit asking why the team skipped over Bad Company 3.
“Everyone I’ve talked to there is very proud and fond of it.”
“What features from BC would you like to see in future games (which is not to say we won’t make another)?” he asked fans. “[I] would be very interested to nail down for myself what it is about BC that is special to everyone and how we can incorporate that magic.”
Battlefield 4 was revealed after EA announced that pre-orders of the Limited Edition of Medal of Honor: Warfighter would be granted access to a beta for it. Yesterday EA clarified that pre-ordering Medal of Honor wasn’t the only way to get into the beta.
I really liked the Bad Company series, however I’m not in any way annoyed that DICE has chosen to go with Battlefield 4, it’s still a new Battlefield game, it doesn’t matter which series it is part of.
