EA Confirms Battlelog Issue With PSN Battlefield 3

THE BUZZ: EA and Sony have confirmed that players who brought the digital version of Battlefield 3 from the PlayStation Store are experiencing issues with signing into Battlelog.

“EA have confirmed that there are issues with the digital build of Battlefield 3 (on the PS Store) which will be affecting people trying sign into Battlelog,” said Online Support Co-ordinator for the EN PlayStation Community, RabidWalker. ”They are currently working on a patch for this, although no ETA has been given at the moment.”

EGM’s TAKE: People affected by this have no choice to hang tight until EA can fix the issue, but they should really hurry asthis puts digital purchasers at a disadvantage.

UPDATE: EA passed along this statement to EGM, making sure that PS3-owning Battlefield 3 owners know that their support team is always ready and available to help out with these issues:

“EA WW Customer Experience is available any time of day to provide an immediate solution to any Battlefield 3 players on PSN that are experiencing log-in difficulties with Battlelog”
