Dead Space

As part of their financial call today, EA confirmed a timeframe for new chapters for two of their popular gaming franchises.

While what exactly the games will be wasn’t announced, EA said that a new Need for Speed and new Dead Space game would be coming by the end of their fiscal year—which is over on March 31st, 2013. (Need for Speed‘s date was listed as being “Q3” according to EA’s presented release calendar, so that narrows its release down somewhat.)

A pretty safe bet for the Dead Space game would, no doubt, be Dead Space 3. As for Need for Speed, we reported about a month ago that South African retailer BTGames had listed “Need for Speed: Most Wanted 2” as an upcoming title. So, I really wouldn’t be surprised if that was indeed the case.
