EA Holding ‘Number of Activities’ for LGBT Pride Month

Posted on May 31, 2013 AT 03:13pm

Electronic Arts plans to be very active during this year’s LGBT Pride Month in June, according to a post on the EA Blog.

Say what you will about EA, but they have been admirably vocal and active about LGBT issues. As part of LGBT Pride Month in June, the company plans to fly the rainbow flag at their Redwood Shores headquarters, hold “a number of activities” throughout the month, and participate in Pride Pants around the globe.

The EA Blog post mentions having their employees walk “(and shout, and dance…)” in the Pride Parades held in Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Stockholm, Vancouver, Austin, and Orlando.

June was chosen for LGBT Pride Month to commemorate the Stonewall riots.
