EA has cut the price of some of its Online Pass content on Xbox Live to absolutely zero! Making good on its promise of giving up on the Online Pass feature altogether.

Battlefield Bad Company 2‘s VIP Pass, Skate 3’s Skate Share Pack, as well as Online Passes for Bulletstorm, Kingdoms of Amalur, Medal of Honor, and Need for Speed: Shift 2 Unleashed have all been cut from 800 Microsoft Points to free, spotted by NeoGAF users.

Dragon Age: OriginsThe Stone Prisoner and Mass Effect 2’s Cerberus Network Pass are also now available for free. However, not all Passes have been removed, most of the publisher’s newer games still require you to pay for the Pass, but it’s a start.

Update: A post on EA’s help page confirms their online pass price cuts also apply to the PlayStation Store.
