Battlefield

EA obviously got a little over excited last week and decided to pick up the domain names for Battlefield 13 through to 20 in a crazy domain-buying spree.

The publisher registered the domains on May 2 and now owns Battlefield13.com through to Battlefield20.com. It already owns up to Battlefield 9, but 10, 11, and 12 are owned by someone else. Of course just because these names have been registered doesn’t mean that there will actually be a Battlefield 20, it’s basically just EA securing the names.

Earlier today the Battlefield 3 and Battlelog servers suffered an outage following an external attack. The next game in the series, Battlefield 4, is set to release later this year.

Will you be still be interested in the series if it goes this far? Let us know in the comments below.
