EA is planning to launch a Mac client for Origin in the future and is currently looking for alpha testers.

The alpha is available to a few thousand people, and all you have to do is simply visit this link and download it. According to EA, the client behaves exactly like the PC version except for the lack of an Origin Store tab and Twitch streaming.

As an added incentive, EA is offering testers a free copy of PopCap’s Bookworm.
