EA, Visceral Games Release 20 Whole Minutes Of Dead Space 3 Gameplay
Posted on June 19, 2012 AT 05:04pm
There’s nothing quite like a long 20-minute video of uninterrupted gameplay, and the Dead Space 3 team seems more than happy to give you an in-depth look at their upcoming sci-fi thriller.
In the video, main lead Issac Clarke and newcomers John Carver work their way through new planet Tau Volantis. It’s also narrated by Executive Producer Steve Papoutsis (who first jumps in at 6:48 in the footage), who is really excited about the drop-in, drop-out co-op gameplay.
Moreover, he also wants you to know that the single player experience that horror fans love is still there. With an extra player, you just get more dialogue, more cutscenes, and probably a less scary experience.
New weapons, team tactics, and a lot of howling Necropmorphs fill up the 20-minutes demonstration—well, slightly less, with Papoutsis’ interruptions—which you would’ve had first access to if you signed up for updates via the official Dead Space website.
