Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has reached some gamers early ahead of its midnight launch tonight and Treyarch has revealed that there will be no penalty to players with legitimate copies who jump on early.
Game design director at Treyarch David Vonderhaar answered fans queries about early play on Twitter, “FAQ. Will people be reset? A. Read the previously linked Security/Enforcement policy. Unless you are a bad person doing bad things, no.” So if you managed to get an early copy then you can go ahead and start playing without any fear.
The developer also revealed that a PC patch will be released post-launch to up the FOV from the current 80 cap to 90. “On the post-launch patch task list: 90 FOV,” one of the PC team tweeted.
