EA’s Chief Financial Officer: Battlefield 4 Looks ‘Stunning’ On PS4
Posted on February 27, 2013 AT 04:13am

Electronic Arts chief financial officer Blake Jorgensen confirmed at the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media, and Telecom Conference that Battlefield 4 is heading to the PlayStation 4.
Jorgensen was asked by a member of the audience whether the lack of an EA appearance at the PlayStation 4 reveal was a sign of its lack of faith in the platform, to which he replied, “I’d say between now and E3 you’re going to see a lot of stuff from us. We’re very excited about Sony’s platform. The technical power on the platform is going to allow us to do a substantial amount of things we’ve never done before.
“I’ve seen the new Battlefield and it is stunning. It is just amazing what the imagination of the game developers are allowed to do with that much power.”
So the real question is why would EA miss out on the PS4 reveal when so many other big names were there? Perhaps it’s connected to the rumored deal with Microsoft?
