Ed Boon Reveals Work On Next Mortal Kombat

It would appear that Ed Boon, Executive Producer on Mortal Kombat, has accidentally revealed that work is already underway on the next Mortal Kombat title.
A follower asked him if it would be possible to get story based DLC to which he replied;
RT@OfficialRafaRIOIs it possible Story Mode DLC chapters 4 the 4 DLC Noobde: Possible? Yes. Probable? No. Story guys working on next game.
He was also asked if the next game would be based off Mortal Kombat 4 to which he replied;
“We changed the timeline so probably not.
Gaming MO: Nick is a first person shooter type of gamer and enjoys heated bouts of Halo with friends and family (even while being schooled by his children).
