EGM Weekly: February 15, 2014 Edition

This is EGM Weekly, a round up of the top news, reviews, and features from the past seven days.

This week, Mario Kart 8 and a bunch of other 3DS and Wii U games get release dates, as does The Evil Within, Gearbox CEO and president Randy Pitchford reveals that Borderlands 3 is not in development (but two new next-gen IPs are), Nintendo announces that Game Boy Advance titles will start appearing on the Wii U Virtual Console in April, Punch-Out‘s Little Mac joins the Super Smash Bros. roster, and much more.

Plus, the EGM Crew reviews Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, The Last of Us: Left Behind, and Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z. We also spend some hands-on time with Titanfall and inFamous: Second Son.

Watch Dogs on track for Q1 of Ubisoft’s fiscal year, Wii U version launching later

Ubisoft’s Yves Guillemot confirmed in a recent financial call that Watch Dogs is on track for a release during the first quarter of Ubisoft’s 2014-2015 fiscal year. However, the Wii U version will be held back and released at a later date. READ MORE

Slimmer PS Vita with LCD screen arriving in North America sometime this spring

Sons of Anarchy creator says there will ‘definitely’ be a game

Sons of Anarchy is set to enter its seventh, and final, season this fall, but that doesn’t mean the end of the road, as creator Kurt Sutter has stated that there will “definitely” be a game based on the FX series. READ MORE
