This week, Ubiosft’s Watch Dogs trademark gets fraudulently filed for express abandonment, Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann reveals the team has ideas for a Last of Us sequel as well as new IPs, Sledgehammer Games is confirmed as the next developer for EA’s Call of Duty rotation, Sega announces Western-developed Sonic Boom for Wii U and 3DS, Amazon acquires Killer Instinct developer Double Helix Games, and much more.

Amazon buys Killer Instinct developer Double Helix, Microsoft has a new developer lined up

In a completely unexpected move, online retailer Amazon has acquired Killer Instinct and Strider developer Double Helix. READ MORE

Strider hitting consoles and PC later this month with speed run and survival modes

Capcom’s Strider revival will arrive on PS4 and PS3 February 18 and on Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC February 19, the company announced. READ MORE

Bioshock Burial at Sea Episode 2 releasing March 25, takes up to six hours to complete

The second installment of Bioshock Infinite‘s Burial at Sea DLC will last around five to six hours for “a completionist,” series creator Ken Levine has revealed. READ MORE
