Posted on October 11, 2012 AT 03:00pm
Everyone trying to earn their way to some exclusive Halo 4 Xbox Live Avatar armor had better cancel some of their plans tonight. Xbox Live is airing the second of four Election 2012 debates tonight.
At 6 p.m. PST/9 p.m. EST tonight, tonight’s Vice-Presidential debate featuring Joe Biden and Paul Ryan will be viewable live through Microsoft’s Election 2012 hub on Xbox Live.
Per the rules of Microsoft’s promotional offer, you’ll have to actively have the online stream running for 30 minutes during the debate in order to qualify for the free Halo 4 armor.
(Note: If you missed the first debate between President Barack Obama and opponent Mitt Romney, make sure that you’re online and running for the rest of the Election 2012 debates.)
Viewers can suggest questions via Twitter with the #XboxPoll hashtag, and can also interact with Xbox Live polls.
During the last debate, Microsoft suggested Barack Obama lost the first round, with Romney leading their polls. According to their internal metrics, Obama lost Xbox Live supporters in droves while Romney doubled his own.
