Middle-earth: Shadow of War developer Monolith revealed during a recent livestream (via Eurogamer) that endless Shadow Wars will be added to the game via a free update.

Endless Shadow Wars will offer players an infinite version of the fort defense mode that is unlocked at the end of the game.

A release date for the update was not announced, but it was confirmed that it will go live alongside the game’s first DLC, titled Slaughter Tribe.

The Slaughter Tribe Nemesis Expansion will be included in Shadow of War’s $40 season pass, which also grants access to the Outlaw Tribe Nemesis Expansion, the Blade of Galadriel Story Expansion, and the Desolation of Mordor Story Expansion.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
