Epic Reveals Additional Gears Of War 3 DLC Details

THE BUZZ: Cliff Bleszinski, Design Director at Epic Games, has confirmed that the first Gears of War 3 campaign DLC will feature Michael Barrick, from the Gears comic books.

Cliff confirmed that “No, it won’t be the graphic novel, but it will have all new campaign content that doesn’t have Marcus, Dom, Cole and Baird in it. Expect Barrick and more…” He also defended the Gears of War 3 storyline which has come under fire over the last week saying, “I’m not going to defend our story here, those who love it and get it truly adore it. You can find plot holes in nearly anything, from Lord of the Rings to Dark Knight. Story, like any art, can be somewhat subjective and is easy to pick on.”

EGM’s TAKE: More Gears of War 3 content can only be a good thing, and we really love that their giving fans some single-player DLC instead of just multiplayer maps.
