Epic Games’ main North Carolina Studio appears to be working on a brand new IP according to a recent job advert.

The listing found on Epic’s careers website says that the developer is looking for a gameplay programmer to work on Gears of War 3 and a “a new unannounced IP”.

The advert reads;

“Epic Games is looking for Gameplay Programmers to join the team working
on Gears of War 3, as well as a new unannounced IP in development,”

“Our Gameplay Programmers have an intrinsic understanding of what makes a
game fun and the analytical mind to break that down into its
constituent parts.”

“They experiment with game design and use rabid prototyping, yet have
the engineering background to make strong architectural and algorithmic
decisions.”

The advert gives no other clues about what this mysterious IP could be.
