Epic’s Cliff Bleszinski Wants ‘Face-Melting Graphics’ From Next Consoles

THE BUZZ: For the next generation of home gaming consoles, Gears of War creator Cliff Bleszinski wants one thing—graphics that will melt your mother’s face off.
EGM’s TAKE: Speaking to Gamespot at last weekend’s PAX East, Bleszinski expressed his desire for the next gaming systems:
“Face-melting graphics. I really want our next-generation consoles to pass what I call the ‘Mom Test.’ So that if you were to show this console and games to your mom, she would be like, ‘Wow, that clearly looks better than your last console,’ and it’s an essential step that needs to be taken by both Sony and Microsoft.”
In addition to that, Bleszinski also told Gamespot that other important features would be ‘always-on’ internet connections, and more refined gesture-based controls (via things such as Kinect).
