Atlus is giving fans a head start on Etrian Odyssey IV when the demo comes to the 3DS eShop February 7.

Atlus announced the upcoming Etrian Odyssey IV demo will include the game’s introduction, initial mini-dungeon, first skyship area, and portions of the first main dungeon—including several sidequests. The equipment, skills, and classes normally available for these sections of the game will be in the demo, too. Best of all? Progress made in the demo will be transferrable to the full game.

Players can continue their odyssey when the full game comes to 3DS February 26 for $39.99. Pre-orders and launch editions include a limited edition art book and music CD.
