EverQuest Next Landmark Alpha Set to Begin Late January

Posted on December 20, 2013 AT 05:28am

EverQuest Next Landmark is planned to enter alpha testing in the second half of January, according to Sony Online Entertainment president John Smedley.

Landmark gives players access to the tools that SOE used to build EverQuest Next. Players can use these tools to create structures and in-game objects, which can then either be sold to the game’s community for in-game currency, or via SOE’s Player Studio for cash. Players will be able to interact with one another in EQNL, helping with building, claiming land, or gathering materials.

You can take a look at Eric L. Patterson’s thoughts on EQNL in our hands-on preview.
