At SOE Live 2014 Sony Online Entertainment announced the 21st expansion for EverQuest titled The Darkened Sea.

The Darkened Sea pays tribute to the 2007 expansion The Buried Sea, and features eight new zones, including Arx Mentis, Caverns of Endless Song, Combine Dredge, Thuliasaur Island, Tempest Temple, and Degmar, The Lost Castle.

As well as these new zones, players get an increased level cap from 100 to 105, a new mount keyring that will move mounts out of banks and bags, new quests, raids, and more.

The expansion will be available to SOE All Access members—Sony’s all in once subscription—on October 28, and for everyone else on November 11.
