A new class is headed to Diablo III: the Necromancer.

Inspired by the same class in Diablo II, The Necromancer is a “master of the dark arts, [drawing] magic from the power of death itself.” And, of course, as a Necromancer, you can make corpses explode.

In addition to the class itself, the Rise of the Necromancer pack comes with a new in-game pet, two additional character slots, two addition stash tabs (for PC players), a portrait frame, pennant, banner, and a banner sigil.

Blizzard is still working out the details on what you’ll need in order to pick up the Rise of the Necromancer pack. At the moment, it looks like you’ll need both Diablo III and Reaper of Souls  on PC, or access to the Ultimate Evil Edition on consoles.

The Necromancer will release “sometime in 2017.” See more details over on Battle.net.
