Codemasters has unveiled the Legends and Anniversary Editions of F1 2019, and confirmed that Formula 2 will be included in the game.
The Legends Edition of the game will let players drive as Ayrton Senna in his 1990 McLaren MP4/5B and Alain Prost in the Ferrari F1-90 across eight race challenges to unlock exclusive Senna and Prost-themed multiplayer car liveries. Both driver’s likenesses have also been added to the game’s career mode. In addition to all this, Legends Edition owners can play the game three days earlier from June 25th, 2019.
The developer also announced an Anniversary Edition of F1 2019 that will include Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa’s Ferrari F10, and Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button’s McLaren MP4-25. Both cars are also included in the Legends Edition and will be made available to purchase together in a bundle at a later date.
Finally, Codemasters confirmed that the FIA Formula 2 Championship will be included in this year’s entry. The full 2018 season will be available from launch, with the 2019 season being added after launch.
F1 2019 launches June 28th, 2019 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
