Adhesive Games has announced that its upcoming free-to-play multiplayer mech combat game Hawken will support Oculus Rift virtual reality when it launches.

Users who signed up to become Oculus Rift developers will be the first to get a chance to try the game using the virtual reality headsets once they are shipped. Hawken is set to launch December 12 for PC, but there’s still no confirmed shipping date for the Oculus headsets.

For those who are interested, more information on the Oculus headset can be found here. So if you fancy a glimpse at the future and you’ve signed up to Oculus then be sure to purchase a copy of Hawken this December.
