Fable: The Journey Release Date Leaked – New Screenshots

THE BUZZ: Microsoft accidentally revealed the release date for Lionhead’s upcoming Kinect title, Fable: The Journey.

The game will be releasing September 4 for Xbox 460. The date was revealed via the game’s Xbox.com page, but has since been changed to December 31 2799.

EGM’s TAKE: This is another one of those it was put up and taken down 10 minutes later jobs. It must be either the actual release date or close to it, or Microsoft wouldn’t have taken it down. Obviously it was supposed to go up either later today or some time this week after it was officially announced, and someone jumped the gun. There’s some itchy mouse clicking fingers in the gaming world today. The game itself doesn’t actually look that bad for a Kinect title, however getting past the whole on-rails thing is a little hard to do. Hopefully what Peter Molyneux mentioned at E3 about the demo not being representative of the final game is true.
