Speedrunner BubblesDelFuego has set a new world record by completing Fallout 3 in under 24 minutes.

He completed an ”any percentage” run from birth to saving the Wasteland in just 23 minutes and 55 seconds. BubblesDelFuego beat his own previous world record time, which stood at 24 minutes 20 seconds.

The speedrunner explained some of the time saving strategies that he used such as load clipping, which involves quick saving and quick loading to pass through certain objects, dialogue skips, and slope jumping. You can read all of his tips and tricks in his Fallout 3 speedrun FAQ here.

Following the run’s completion, BubblesDelFuego stated that he wouldn’t try to beat this time unless a major time saver is discovered or if someone takes the record from him.
